Air Traffic Controllers
This show is completely dedicated to Air Traffic Controllers. In that respect I have, with permission from the National Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA), included in this episode actual ATC recordings of flight assists or “saves”, where Air Traffic Controllers truly saved the day for pilots who were in real trouble.
And, all of the recordings you’re about to hear are the basis for this year’s Archie League Awards, where NATCA honored the controllers in these recordings for their outstanding work.

General Aviation Pilots Encounter an F-16 Over Arizona Last Month
Join me as I sit down with private pilot Patrick McCall as he tells us about both his and another pilot’s experience late last month with an F-16 over Arizona. Both pilots were transitioning the Gladden MOA at the time.
The FAA is investigating and Senator John McCain’s office has also reportably sent a request to Luke Air Force base for a complete disclosure of the events. This story is generating quite the stir and the main stream media is just starting to pick up on it.
