Stories from the Road
Join me on a long drive this last week across the California desert while I entertain you (…and myself) with some funny stories from the last 15 or 20 years.

Also, I stopped at the Mohave Air & Space Port for lunch at the Voyager Restaurant where it reminded me of a book called The $100 Hamburger by John F. Purner.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t until I was 100 miles south of my house until I realized that I forgot to take my Canon pro-digital camera setup.. Arrggggg! Since I didn’t take it, I was forced to resort to using the one on my cell phone. My apologies!

The X-PrizeAlso, a trip to Mohave can’t be complete without a stop into Scaled Composites. Upon walking into the lobby I was amazed to see the X-Prize just sitting right there in the corner! I could have touched it, and now sort of wish I did.
