You may have seen the recent reports about 8 year old Bryan Moore just trying to get home from Cortez, Colorado, only to be told by Great Lake Airlines that he was on a terrorist no-fly list. Maybe he just kicks too much ass at Halo or Quake and they thought that posed a threat?

According to 8 year old Bryan, “They almost got me scheduled in and then the lady just bowed her head and said, ‘We can’t get you on this plane, you’re a terrorist.’” Imagine how that felt to an 8 year old.

Apparently Bryan’s name matched another name on the no fly list and he was red flagged. But there are procedures according to the TSA that are supposed to catch this. The airline is supposed to make the necessary changes and let the child board. Supposedly. However for Bryan, this didn’t happen quick enough because his flight left without him and he ended up having to catch another flight the next day.

What a pisser. And all in the name of national security.
